About Us

Skipton Rotaract is one of the many thousands of Rotaract clubs worldwide and is an organisation for young people aged between 18 and 30 who enjoy socialising, meeting new people, participating in fun social and charitable events. Click here to visit the National Rotaract website. Rotaract is also the younger side of Rotary International and we are supported by Skipton Rotary Club, [who are very supportive indeed!!]

Some of the events we've attended or helped to run:

- Alzheimer's Memory Walk
- Skipton Gala
- Brouton Hall Edwardian Fete
- Skipton Sheep Day
- Young Chef Awards
- Young Achiever's Awards
- Youth Speaks Awards
- RYLA
- Ocean Youth Trust
- Skipton Yuletide Festival
- Rotary Santa Fun Run.

Every fourth wednesday is our 'Social Meeting' where we just have fun! In the past, this has been ice-skating, film nights, game nights, nights out in fancy dress [or not], dinner, or if the weather's nice, outdoor pursuits. [Yorkshire three peaks!!]
